SPD/CSSD Co-Ordinator (Sterile Processing Dept) - Chatswood Private Hospital

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced full time Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Co-Ordinator to join our team. Chatswood Private Hospital (CPH) sets the new benchmark for surgeries related to Ophthalmic, ENT, Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial surgeries. Providing cutting edge technology, state of the art facilities and instrumentation. Mandatory criteria:

• TAFE Certificate in Health Service Assistance (Sterilisation Services) 
• 3-5 years sterilisation processing experience
• Competent leadership and organisational skills with team management experience 

Duties include:

• Effectively coordinate & oversee the sterilisation process as per AS4187 standard
• Ensure maintenance of infection control as per guidelines. 
• Participation in quality and risk management 
• Management of surgical set ups and SPD duties
• Perform stock control including ordering and putting away stocks for SPD 
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills in the sterilisation unit in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure safety in the work environment, including maintenance of infection control and manual handling requirements
