Altrad are offering on-going work within our Kwinana Fabrication Facility, the position of Special Class Welder will see you gain considerable insight into major fabrication operations. - Location - Kwinana Beach or AMC Henderson
- Project description - Ongoing full-time work in our heavy structural fabrication workshop.
- Work hours - Monday - Friday 10hr days, occasional weekends and overtime when required.
- Rates - $39 + penalties after 36hrs, hourly tool and welding allowance. Pay increase + Attendance allowance after 3 months employment.
About you
Minimum 2 years post trade experience within a workshop environment
Good knowledge and understanding of welding procedure specification.
Ability to weld in all position and competent with GTAW, MMAW, FCAW, MIG, SAW
Ability to perform welding in sequence to eliminate shrinkage and distortion.
Ability to perform arc-air gouging operations as required.
Hold the following Nationally Accredited Qualifications:
OHS Card (White/Blue Card)
Working at Heights (within 3 years)
Confined Space Entry (within 3 years)
Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
