Primary Objective:
To provide high quality Infectious Diseases and General Medicine specialist care through participation in: inpatients, outpatients and Hospital in the Home clinical services at Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospital. Supervision and teaching of junior staff, continuous quality improvement activities and active involvement in departmental professional development opportunities is an integral part of this role.
In addition this position will have a specific role in providing specialist Infectious Disease support to the Infection Prevention services within Top End Health Services. This is a part time vacancy available for 0.6 (22 hrs and 48 mins) per week.
One vacancy is available, working in Darwin and Palmerston. Selection will be made at the SC or SSC level depending on the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant.
