About The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre
We are a leading organisation offering a comprehensive suite of services to clients and the community across the Barwon, West Melbourne, Warrnambool and Wimmera Regions. Providing specialist sexual assault and Family Violence programs and services, including 24 hour crisis care support, crisis accommodation, case management, therapeutic counselling, early intervention and professional education and training, we continue to grow and develop our offerings.
About The Role
This position provides specialised first point of contact for our service in the assessment of adults, young people, children and families (with non-offending parent/s) who have experienced sexual assault or Family Violence, and for children and young people who engage in problematic or abusive sexualised behaviours. The position reports to the Intake Team Leader and is supported by a team of highly skilled and qualified practitioners. Regular professional supervision, valuable peer and organisational support as well as training and professional development are provided. This position is full time or part time minimum 4 days per week.
About You
With degree qualifications in social work, welfare or psychology, you have demonstrated experience in assessment and risk management, crisis intervention, case management and you will be able to demonstrate experience in delivery of therapeutic interventions.
