About the role
We are looking for a Specialist Fixed Plant Readiness to join the Operational Readiness team working on the Rhodes Ridge project that is currently in the early stages of study. This role is a great opportunity to use your knowledge and experience to ensure a safe, productive, maintainable, and operable Fixed Plant solution is delivered as part of the Rhodes Ridge project.
You’ll be part of a supportive team, able to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You’ll work on Monday to Friday Perth based roster with flexible working arrangements which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.
Reporting to the Superintendent Fixed Plant Readiness, you will:
  • Working collaboratively and fostering relationships with other departments to achieve wider business objectives
  • Provide engineering guidance for the selection and functionality of new equipment and components
  • Ensure compliance to RTIO standards, user requirement specification and basis of design
  • Develop business case to justify any project inclusions or omissions improving project outcomes
  • Investigating and providing a response on related technical queries
  • Participate in the definition and execution of plant operating philosophy, information management, commissioning and operations
  • Participating in detailed design and risk reviews for operability, maintainability and reliability, influencing and facilitating operations involvement to achieve project outcomes supporting a smooth ramp up and handover
What you’ll bring
  • Tertiary qualification in a field which will compliment operational readiness related activities with demonstrated experience in the field (Electrical, Mechanical, Processing, or similar)
  • Your specialist advice and support on operating practices and processes in a Fixed Plant environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, able to build strong functional relationships with partners in a complex, matrix organisation.
  • Well-developed people influencing, engagement and communication skills.
  • Mature approach to issues and strong decision making skills
  • Proven ability in safety leadership in the mining or relevant industry.
