The Specialist Physician General Medicine has a primary focus on the provision of clinical services, managing patients with a diverse range of multiple active co-morbidities or undifferentiated illnesses both in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
The successful applicant will work in a multidisciplinary clinical environment with a team of nursing and medical staff, including Advanced and Basic Physician Trainees in General Medicine. You will also contribute to the supervision and education of Junior Medical Staff and medical students.

The successful applicant will be a registered medical practitioner with AHPRA or eligible for registration. Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) with specialist recognition or assessed by RACP as substantially comparable is essential for this position. Willingness to participate in relevant college education programs and demonstrated experience in teaching junior medical staff and medical students are required. Dual trained Physicians are encouraged to apply.
