We have a great culture and are looking for experienced and professional Construction Earthmoving Trainers and Assessors to join our team.
We are on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Earthmoving specialist, who can teach and assess against the following topics:
- Excavator
- Front End Loader
- Backhoe Loader
- Skid Steer Loader
- Dump Trucks
- Roller
- Dozer (desirable)
- Grader (desirable)
- Scrapers (desirable)
- Crushers & Screeners (desirable)
The position is full-time however we are open to discussion regarding a roster that suits you. We have a range of days available for teaching between 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. Weekend work may also be available.
About You:
We are looking for professional educators with fantastic people skills, a proven specialist earthmoving background, with a passion for sharing learnings with others. You may be a great fit if you have the following:
- A can-do attitude and an upbeat personality
- Ability to multitask in a busy RTO environment
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously when required
- Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines with excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrate solid experience as a Trainer/ Assessor and hold current industry skills
Requirements
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and relevant training & assessment services (combined theory and practical activities)
- Ensure content and delivery of accredited courses meets ASQA/ RTO Standards and other applicable regulations
- Supervise students’ behaviours and provide engaging and motivating training
- Maintain equipment, training venues and training aids to ensure they are serviceable, clean, tidy, and safe for operation
- Travel may be required to deliver training off-site
- Perform other general duties as required
- Demonstrated Earthmoving experience within the construction/ civil, resources & infrastructure or training sectors
- Be eligible to obtain a Working Children Check Card and a Police Check
- You will need to be an Australian Resident
- Must hold valid Australian Drivers Licence
