Speech Therapists are required to follow all policies and procedures and report to management:
- Changes in participant circumstances or environment.
- Work health and safety issues and concerns.
- Need for resources to undertake the role.
- If you think that the participant is experiencing discrimination, exploitation, neglect, abuse, or violence.
- When unsure of actions that should be undertaken; stressed or anxious feelings.
- Communicating with key stakeholders and allied health professionals regularly to provide optimal client care, such as Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, Support Coordinators, etc.
- Writing NDIS and review reports.
- A Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or equivalent
- Registration with Speech Pathology Australia
- Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent time management
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem solving
- Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude and positive approach
- Police Check or willing to apply
- NDIS screening check or willing to apply
- COVID 19 vaccine certificate
- Current Drivers License.
- Current CPR / First Aid Certificate.
- New Worker NDIS Induction Module
- Ability to register for a Medicare Provider number
