TLC-WA continues to lead the way in supporting Western Australian families. Our team of highly trained therapists have extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients. We are passionate about professional development, continually expanding our training and skill sets to ensure we provide the most effective, up to date and evidence-based intervention programs available. We provide fortnightly peer mentoring sessions and bimonthly in house CPD. With considerable experience around childhood disability services, TLC-WA is a registered service provider with the NDIS.
Our experienced team of therapists work collaboratively, ensuring the challenges faced by our clients are treated as holistically and effectively as possible. Based on each family’s individual needs, we can build an integrated team around them, all working cohesively towards empowering our clients to reach their full potential.
As our organisation continues to grow, we are now looking for a new Speech Pathologist to join our exciting team. The successful candidate must have:
- Current CPSP membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Current Working with Children check
- Current NDIS Worker Screening
- A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- An understanding of transdisciplinary referrals
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience and/or willingness to build networks and referral bases.
- Be proficient with paperless data bases and recording systems
- Own reliable vehicle with a current driver’s license
- Be intrinsically motivated and demonstrate a genuine passion for your profession and your clients.
- Be familiar with service delivery under the NDIS
- Demonstrated experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum and complex diagnoses.
