About the roleThe position is perfect for a Speech Pathologist who has experience working within a paediatric setting.
You will work alongside our allied health team to provide individual and joint assessment and therapy interventions. You would be responsible for a mixed case load ranging from infants to teens but with a high proportion of early intervention.
In addition to your clinical hours another part of the role is delivering mentoring to junior therapists and working alongside and under the Clinical Lead SP who has 30 years of experience. You have set time dedicated to assist with leadership duties. KPI's will be reduced to allow time for supervision within the contrated hours.
The role involves delivering services both in clinic and the community.
Ongoing support is offered through clinical mentoring, leadership development and professional development.
Are you the right fit for us?We are looking for a highly passionate Speech Pathologist with the following skills/attributes:
- Experience working within a paediatric setting
- Experience mentoring juniors and/or students desirable
- Registration with SPA
- Medicare Provider Number
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transport.
- Working With Children clearance
- NDIS Worker check
- Current RRHAN certification or willingness to obtain
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Be Up to date with Covid and flu vaccinations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task
- Must be friendly, great with children, a people's person and most importantly FUN!
