About the role
We are looking for an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team on a part time basis! This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to try out a private practice setting.
We are looking for someone to join us 1-2 days per week, with one being a Saturday. This role is ideal for someone with a special interest in working with neurodiverse clients.
About us
Talk Read Grow is a family run business dedicated to supporting our clients to achieve their functional communication goals through play based support & having fun. We also have a special interest in literacy. The practice is owned and operated by a Speech Pathologist and our friendly and supportive team consists of Speech Pathologists, teachers and allied health assistants. We work with children aged 2-12 years and their families. Our offices are located in Sunnybank Hills, on the southside of Brisbane.
Qualifications & experience
- A degree in speech pathology. Eligibility for certified practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia and a Medicare Provider number essential.
- Blue card / working with children check, current police check
- Minimum 3 years experience required
- Drivers license preferred but not essential
Tasks & responsibilities
- Provide high quality, evidence-based speech pathology services to children aged 2-12 and their families or carers
- Use your great communication skills to build excellent working relationships
- Maintain clinical records using our simple practice management software
- Prepare quality reports following assessment, or a therapy block
- Talk with other members of a client's support team, to optimise outcomes
- Keep learning! Participate in regular supervision and professional learning
