AddressPrincess Alexandra Hospital, Speech Pathology are looking for a Speech pathologist to join their team. This exciting role provides you the opportunity to deliver routine level Speech Pathology clinical services which include detailed Clinical assessment, patient education, and therapeutic intervention. You will also participate and contribute to quality improvement and research activities under the guidance of senior staff.

About the Role
- Manage an allocated workload to deliver Speech Pathology services, within the PAH Speech Pathology team including assessment, intervention and evaluation within an interprofessional team in accordance with established clinical & departmental protocols, policies and procedures, utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards and under clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of senior staff.
- Liaise and work effectively in a professional manner with clients and their carers and family, other health professionals from different disciplines, students and external agencies to achieve a client centred approach, utilising negotiation and conflict resolution skills as required.
- Provide education, direction and supervision for routine tasks to less experienced staff, students and support staff, with the support of senior clinical staff.
- Participate in the identification, development, implementation and evaluation of quality and service improvement and/or research activities that enhance the delivery of Speech Pathology services and promote patient centred care within an interprofessional service.
