As this is a contracting position, you are free to choose your days and hours, as well as the clients that you see. Whatever works best with your lifestyle needs!
About the Role
- Sub-Contracting Role (flexible working hours - choose the days that suit your lifestyle and the hours that work best for you)
- Flexible start date
- Working alongside other wonderful health professionals that bring a wealth of knowledge
- Provide accessible, high quality, evidence-based assessment and therapy services to paediatric clients.
- Collaborate with clients and their families to ensure clients have ownership over their own treatment goals and the best way of achieving them.
- Collaborating and communicating with client stakeholders across environments, including schools, early childhood facilities and involved allied health practitioners.
- Travel around the sunny Gold Coast visiting families and children within their natural environments

About You
- You have a Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Speech Pathology
- You have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in paediatrics
- You can work autonomously and show initiative
- You are dedicated to client-centered practice, enthusiastic, passionate about delivering quality, engaging care to children. You must have a positive, growth-orientated attitude towards your clinical practice and professional services
- You have a high level of written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to build strong rapport with clients and their families
- You have good time management and organizational skills
- You have the ability to work well both within a team and independently
- You have a high degree of motivation and commitment to continuing professional development, ethical and evidence-based practice
- You are a SPA member with CPSP status, have your WWCC, police check, and current CPR certification (or able to get)
- You have current Professional Indemnity insurance (or able to get)
- You have a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance and current driver's license
- You have your own laptop & mobile phone
