P1 Speech Pathologist

An exciting opportunity has become available at Joondalup Health Campus for an enthusiastic and motivated Speech Pathologist.
This role is for permanent recruitment to a 0.4FTE P1 position.
About the Role:
As a member of the Joondalup Health Campus speech pathology team, you will provide an evidence-based speech pathology service to a general adult caseload and participate in quality improvement activities.
You will work within a supportive team of experienced professionals who are passionate about providing the best quality care for our patients.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate in their written application that they meet the following essential criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
- Demonstrated commitment to uphold and promote the Ramsay Way core values.
- Eligible for current membership with the Speech Pathology Association of Australia.
- Ability to assess, diagnose and manage adults who present with a wide range of swallowing and communication disorders.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to function effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven time and caseload management skills.
- Commitment to continuing professional development.
- Knowledge of, and commitment to, quality assurance and/or the accreditation process.
Candidates who meet the following desirable criteria will be highly regarded:
- Previous experience working with an adult caseload in an acute or rehabilitation setting.
- Exposure to instrumental assessment (VFSS and/or FEES).
