Access theEligible health workers who make the move (interstate or international) to work with us may receive up to $70,000 in incentive payments under theAbout your opportunityFixed Term Temporary full-time / 27.06.2024 up to 15.09.2025.This is an ideal opportunity to deliver generalist speech pathology services working with inpatient and outpatient presentations, to optimise the management of the functions of communication and swallowing through assessment, diagnosis, intervention, appropriate liaison, advocacy and education within the Burdekin and Townsville Hospital and Health Service.Generous remuneration package value up to $132,730 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $76,747 to $116,332 p.a. (HP3)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
- Demonstrates recognised speech pathology expertise and knowledge obtained through relevant tertiary education and eligibility to obtain a certified practising Speech Pathologist credential.
- Builds and maintains effective professional relationships with clients and colleagues \
- Participate in the identification, development, implementation and evaluation of quality improvement activities that enhance delivery of speech pathology services within the Townsville Hospital & Health Service.
- Demonstrates competent knowledge and skill to provide speech pathology advice to stakeholders
- A tertiary degree qualification (or equivalent) in Speech Pathology from a recognised tertiary institution is considered mandatory for this position, as is meeting eligibility requirements for practicing membership to Speech Pathology Australia. Applicants who do not meet these criteria will not be considered.
