The service is comprised of a 41-bed inpatient rehabilitation service, a community rehabilitation service and a 4-bed transitional living service.The Position SummaryWe are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and skilled Speech Pathologist to provide high-quality assessment and management of clients within the ABI Rehabilitation Service. You will also contribute to quality improvement and research activities within the ABI Service and broader speech pathology department.The Grade 1 clinician is responsible for:
- Providing assessment and management of patients within the ABI Service, primarily in the areas of communication, cognition and swallowing
- Contributing to an interdisciplinary team approach to achieve optimal patient care and outcomes and to minimise clinical risk.
- Contributing to complex discharge planning, including NDIS and TAC processes
- Working as a key member of Alfred Health's ABI Service provides you with access to regular clinical supervision and opportunities for continued professional development
