Job description

A wonderful opportunity exists for both an experienced and graduate clinician to work with in our supportive, knowledgeable and friendly Speech Pathology Team (SPT) at Central Highlands Rural Health (CHRH).  CHRH operates across Hepburn Shire and the Macedon Ranges in the Central Highlands of Victoria an area with some of the most picturesque countryside in Victoria, encompassing townships renowned for their community inclusion and spirit, as well as offering wonderful shops, wellness spas and cafes, all this within an hour drive of Melbourne, Geelong, Bendigo and Ballarat.

The available positions provides;

  •  exposure to broad clinical experience to develop highly sought after specialised clinical skills

                     - Adult and paediatric (Pre-school)
                     - Acute, Age Care and Community setting

  • opportunities for involvement in quality improvement projects in both the speech pathology team and the broader multidisciplinary team

The Speech Pathology role available maximises all the benefits of working in a regional public service, including: working within a multidisciplinary team of experienced, knowledgeable, supportive and friendly clinicians, with career progression opportunities including leadership and clinical opportunities across the continuum of care. Our SPT runs a supportive and successful supervision program that all clinicians are expected to participate in. This position is an integral member of the Physical Wellbeing Team and wider Community Health Team.

Salary:  as per award + 11% superannuation + access to salary packaging 

About CHRH 

Central Highlands Rural Health (CHRH) is a rural health organisation that operates five campuses across Hepburn Shire and the Macedon Ranges in the Central Highlands of Victoria in Australia, north and north-west of Melbourne. It was formed through the voluntary amalgamation of Hepburn Health Service and Kyneton District Health on the 30th November 2019.  Each of our campuses retains the name of the township in which they are situated - Clunes Health, Creswick Health, Daylesford Health, Kyneton Health, and Trentham Health.
