About the role:

We are looking for a passionate Speech Pathologist to join our dedicated and professional team. You will use your skills and knowledge in Speech Pathology to provide flexible family-centred services to children and adults with a disability and their families, within the context of a trans- or multi-disciplinary team and to maintain efficient and effective practices in line with Aruma policies and procedures. This role is flexible - Full Time or Part Time will be considered. New graduates are encouraged to apply!

Negotiable salary $85k - $105k (pro rata for PT) + super + salary packaging + employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the communication needs of children and adults using appropriate assessments and observation processes.
• Develop professional relationships with customers and their families, which respect individual styles and acknowledge their strengths and capabilities.
• Support customers/families to identify their priorities and make informed decisions.
• Participate in initial assessment interviews to determine appropriate ongoing service plan for the child/customer and their family.
• To participate in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of individualised service plans.

About You:

• Bachelor of Speech Pathology.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Speech Pathologist.
• Passionate about human rights and creating positive change.
• Empathetic and compassionate, with a keen understanding of diverse experiences.
• Excellent communication skills to be the voice that resonates with others.
• Enthusiastic team player, eager to collaborate and inspire.
• Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State).
