About the Role
To be successful for the position you will have demonstrated experience in the following:
- Apply a high level of professional judgement and knowledge to provide a wide range of speech and language supports to adolescents and adults with a variety of needs;
- Assess the communication and mealtime management abilities of the client utilising a range of assessment techniques and tools;
- Design intervention plans that are holistic, client-centred, and outcome-driven;
- Provide support to and assisting clients, carers, and families with the implementation of intervention plans and programs;
- Develop care plans and writing comprehensive reports based on advanced clinical understanding, application of various clinical assessments, and implementation of appropriate interventions to address prioritised needs;
- Liaise with other health professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the client;
- Educate family, carers, teachers etc on strategies to improve client’s development and independence.

- Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent
- Practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
- Current First Aid certificate and CPR
- Current driver’s licence and have access to own transport
- Eligible for a Medicare Provider number
- Current and clear National Police Check certificate
- Minimum of 2 years paid experience
- MUST have current work rights in Australia or ability to receive sponsorship.
