Spin Plant Machine Operator

Skillforce Recruitment currently have an opportunity for a Spin Plant Machine Operator for one of our valued clients.
PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS A TEMP TO PERM ROLE WORKING FULL TIME HOURS. WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CONSIDER PEOPLE WITH VISA RESTRICTIONS
Role
Machine operator level with the ability to follow specific system steps when operating a semi-automated process in a sequence based format.

• Prepares material as per galvanising process.
• Cleans, prepares and descales surfaces of parts or articles with cleaning solutions such as acids or alkalis or by using blasting cabinets.
• Achieving production output targets
• Having a proactive approach to housekeeping/ hazard identification (e.g. oil spills etc)
• Places parts in fixtures, jigs or racks and immerses them as per galvanising process.
• Examines articles or parts to check progress and monitor quality of finish.
• Checks and monitors instruments.
• Adds water or other materials to maintain mixture and level of cleaning, rinsing as per galvanising process.
• Removes parts or articles at completion of plating and rinses and dries them.
• Examine all finished products ensuring they conform to requirements.
• Contributes to the team environment by performing other duties as required

Requirements

• Previous Machine Operating Experience
• Galvanising experience
• Valid Forklift Ticket
• Overhead Crane ticket
• Reliable Transport
• Able to pass a Pre Employment Medical
• Able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen
• Must have Full Working Rights to Work in Australia
