Sports Administration Co-ordinator
Marist College Ashgrove is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 5-12, situated in Brisbane's inner Northern suburbs. The College has a vacancy for a Sports Administration Co-ordinator, to join our College sports department, commencing in March 2024.
This is a full-time, continuing position and is remunerated at Level 5 ($37.17 per hour) for 38 hours per 5-day week with an expectation of the employee being available to work some Saturday’s if required, to be negotiated on offer of the position.
Typical weekday hours are 8:00 am – 4:06 pm however consideration will be given to flexibility of workdays due to the expectation that the Sports Administration Co-ordinator will work on Saturdays during terms when sports activities are running.
Duties are centered around the administration and organisation for the AIC and College sporting programs.
The ideal applicant will have:
- A commitment to the Catholic and Marist ethos of the College;
- Relevant qualifications for this position;
- Recent experience of a school context;
- Good computer skills;
- Attention to detail and good organisational skills;
- The ability to be flexible;
- Familiarity with a range of equipment used in various school sport games;
- Capacity to do some heavy lifting of sports equipment;
- Bus licence is advantageous but not essential;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children) or be eligible to apply for a Blue Card
