THIS CAN BE A PART TIME OR FULL TIME POSITION.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and motivated Physiotherapist, who is willing to learn and develop their Physiotherapy career, to join the expanding Knee Joint Sports Physiotherapy Team based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, in Queensland.
The Director of the clinic is Kurt Lisle, FACP, is a Specialist Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist (as awarded by The Australian College of Physiotherapy). He is the Lead Physiotherapist at Football Australia, and the Men's National Team, 'The Socceroos'.
You will be working with Australian College of Physiotherapy, Specialist and Titled, Sports and Exercise Physiotherapists, who work with professional and amateur sporting organisations at the local, national and international level. Ongoing mentoring and team training will be provided by the senior staff, online providers and external presenters. Participation in ongoing professional development and sports coverage is actively supported and encouraged.
The Knee Joint Sports Physiotherapy has been established since 2008. The clinic looks after a wide variety of clientele, including Amateur and Professional Athletes from adolescents to the elderly. Our aims are to provide clinical excellence in individual patient centred care, diagnosis, rehabilitation and holistic management for the lifespan of the individual and any athlete.
We are focused on professional and personal development of all staff in order to achieve these aims.
We work closely with: GPs, Sports and Exercise Medicine Physicians, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Radiologists, Rheumatologists, Exercise Physiologists, Athletic Development and Strength & Conditioning Coaches, Podiatrists, Psychologists, Sports Dieticians and Athlete Coaches; to enhance the best outcomes for patients and athletes.
This multidisciplinary approach, vital to Athlete & Patient management, further enhances our staff's professional and clinical experiences.

- AHPRA registration in Australia (or current ability to acquire) is essential please
- Residency for work purposes in Australia is essential please.
Desired Experience (but not essential):
- Strong clinical reasoning and objective examination skills, along with well developed communication abilities within a team environment.
- 3-5+ years of private practice clinical experience (preferred but NOT essential) within a Sports or Musculoskeletal setting.
- APA Titled ‘Sports & Exercise’, or ‘Musculoskeletal’ Physiotherapist, or, has a goal to work towards such qualifications.
- Documented annual professional development education/ training.
