An exciting opportunity exists for a Spray Painter to join TE’s carefully selected and skilled workforce in Paget on a full-time basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary.
• Select and mix paints and coatings to ensure proper consistency and colour match.
• Operate spray painting equipment such as airless sprayers and pressure pots to apply coatings evenly and efficiently.
• Apply coatings to a variety of surfaces including metal structures, equipment components, and vehicle bodies.
• Monitor environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity to optimize paint application and drying.
• Follow safety protocols and always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of painting equipment and work areas.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

·         Certificate III in Painting / Panel Beating.

·         Driver’s License

·         High Risk Licence – LF (Forklift)

·         Operate a Gantry or Overhead Crane - RIIHAN305D

·         Conduct Lifting Operations - RIIHAN203E

·         A strong commitment to safety, continual improvement, and Company policies and procedures.

·         Current ‘right to work’ in Australia.

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role

• Expected start date for role: 20 June 2024
• Expected salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
