About the role

We are looking for an Equipment Service Technician who will use their mechanical and customer service skills to service a wide array of contractor spray equipment. Prior exposure to spray equipment is advantageous but not required, as you will receive thorough on the job training plus accreditation from our major equipment suppliers.

The role requires a self-motivated individual with the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team. You'll have the ownership and support you need to succeed, both from your leaders and your colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Repairing and maintaining spray machines.
  • Providing after-sales support with trade painters.
  • Managing hire of spray equipment and the warranty on customer spray machines.
  • Provide technical support to our network of store teams.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service are maintained.
  • Managing spare parts stock levels.

Skills & Experience

  • Equipment repair and service experience, or a Mechanical aptitude.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Confident communication and the natural ability to build rapport.
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.
  • Physical fitness - lifting is required.
