An opportunity has become available for a Spray/Irrigation Technician and Qualified Greenkeeper to assist in the daily maintenance and new construction works of Noosa Golf Club.
Noosa golf club is situated on the northern end of the beautiful sunshine coast. A par 72, 18 hole championship course which has only recently started its masterplan rebuilding greens, tees & bunkering.
The successful applicants will need to be highly motivated, have a strong work ethic, have a strong eye for detail and work well in a team environment. You will need to be an effective communicator aiming to achieve the best playing surfaces for the membership and our guests.
Suitable applicants for the Greenkeeper role should hold:- Cert 3 in sports turf management or higher
- Operational experience of Golf Course maintenance, renovation & spray equipment
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Familiar with weeds, pest & diseases.
- Knowledge of the game of golf.
- Experience working in similar role.
- The ability to learn new skills and processes.
- Be able to work rostered weekend shifts & overtime shifts.
- Familiar with OH&S & WHS.
- Construction experience.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Current spray license.
- Experience in irrigation maintenance, installation & repairs.
- Familiar with Toro lynx irrigation system.
Contribute to all daily golf course set up for the days play.
