About the company
Defend Fire is a Northern Territory owned and operated fire protection company. Our company provides installation, service and maintenance of the fire equipment in commercial, residential, industrial sites including Darwin, Alice Springs, Katherine, Jabiru and even the remotest parts of the Territory.
The opportunity:
We are looking to fill multiple positions within our fire company due to steady growth and secured projects in the new year. Sprinkler fitters are encouraged to apply for opportunities in our service and construction divisions.
About you:
• Minimum 3 (three) years fire industry experience.
• Motivated to grow and learn.
• Great attitude.
• Passionate and driven self-starter who can work autonomously and deliver high standard results.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, plan and prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal team members, clients and suppliers.
• Proactive with a strong, quick-thinking mindset.
• Customer focused.
• Strong communication.
• Repair, maintenance, inspection and installation of sprinkler systems.
• Take pride in your tasks with an attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of Australian Standards and FireMate software; or be willing to undertake training in the same.
• Must have rights to work in Australia, or be working towards obtaining the same.

Renumeration - all commensurate on experience:
• Sprinkler fitters - $80,000 to $95,000
• Additionally to the above, we pay superannuation, overtime and allowances
Summary of role requirements:
• Looking for candidates available to work on weekdays, and occasionally after hours or on weekends as required.
