About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced SQL Developer and Data Analyst to join our growing Digital team. Reporting to the Applications Integrations Manager, you will provide development, maintenance and support of our internal applications. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can hit the ground running with strong analytical skills, and ability to accurately complete tasks and follow instructions given.
Key Responsibilities
- Writing SQL (specifically T-SQL) code to meet business requirements
- Develop complex stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, tables and other database objects according to business requirements using SQL.
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines using SSIS
- Manage and maintain our SQL Server databases
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Very strong to expert level SQL skills, SQL Server and SSIS with expertise in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Proficiency in ETL scripting, preferably with experience using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
- Experience in building, delivering and maintaining business intelligence reports and dashboards using Tableau, SQL and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
- Familiarity with tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Jira, Confluence, Teams
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Ability to communicate with other teams and stakeholders
- More than 3 years’ experience writing C# and .NET applications would be desirable
