About the role
The successful applicant will provide clinical care to patients and clinically manage, on a day-to-day basis, the associated multidisciplinary patient care team to ensure the provision of appropriate patient care. Provide professional leadership within a specialist medical area and provide training, education and supervision to junior medical staff and other health care members.

- Clinical expertise in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine.

Results
- Extensive clinical experience with appropriate knowledge and skills extending across the range of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine disciplines, with an ability to deliver quality specialty care to patients.
- Contribute to the establishment and fostering of relationships within the Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Service and across the medical specialties of the Division of Medicine, between the Department and other Hospital and Health Service departments and services to ensure the continuum of care for the patient.
- Commitment to leading the performance, development, and evaluation of the education program for clinicians at an undergraduate and post graduate level

- Enables collaboration and enhances connectivity in the provision of a Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Service within a multi disciplinary team by demonstrating effective communication and promoting understanding, respect and trust between different groups and professions.
- Commitment to self-development and continuous self-improvement.
- Adherence to patient safety while achieving clinical efficiency as measured by department KPIs.
