About the Role
- Initiate the clinical care of patients in the Emergency Department and ensure appropriate transfer to inpatient care when indicated.
- Consult with Specialist staff and other Hospital staff as required with respect to patient management and related issues. Escalate to specialists of other craft groups to help expedite better patient care.
- Supervise the clinical care of patients and productivity of by Resident Medical Officers and Registrars in the Emergency Department.
- Supervise and teach Emergency Department clinicians, Resident Medical Officers and Medical Students attached to the Hospital.
