  • Base salary $135,820 - $143,310 plus 17% Superannuation

About the opportunity

The Stakeholder Engagement Manager will provide hands on development, management, and delivery of effective engagement management support for COS (Central Operations Services) that will enable the achievement of sustainable process, technological and behaviour changes relating to COS Programs and Projects (including process and system changes). The aim of the COS Programs and projects is to support operational efficiency, safety and compliance, customer service and our people. The position collaborates with Managers, Project Managers and team members, Subject Matter Experts and HR to implement comprehensive engagement management solutions for COS, aligned with the strategic and business planning requirements of both COS and the University.

The position provides hands on end-to-end engagement management support to COS, COS projects and internal and external stakeholders.  Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • collaborate closely with the COS Engagement Team, Program Managers and team members, and Subject Matter Experts to understand requirements and ensure effective solutions are in place including communications, engagement, training and support
  • ensure business areas are sufficiently prepared and ready for the impact of the change and any new ways of working ahead of ‘go-live’ events (including developing change impact assessments and transition plans to support stakeholders through changes)
  • develop and implement engagement and change strategies and plans
  • conduct stakeholder analysis and implement engagement plans
  • provide expert advice and coaching
  • build and deliver training and support materials and manage networks (e.g. Super Users)
  • provide regular status reports and reporting on program/project engagement activities, progress and effectiveness.

About you

  • hands on experience planning, developing and delivering effective engagement / change management solutions and outcomes. Experience in engagement / change management within BAU and program / project environments
  • demonstrated experience in building successful Stakeholder Engagement and management of effective work relationships
  • experience in change management delivery in transformation programs / projects of significant complexity
  • Collaborates with others and has a strong customer and results focus 
  • demonstrated organisation skills, including ability to manage multiple activities and projects
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, presentation and consultation skills.

Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
