Standards EngineerBased in Bentley, PERMANENT ROLE.Be part of a business delivering real positive change.WFH options, health and wellbeing programs.What is your new role about?Develop and maintain technical standards, manuals, and guidelines for use by Horizon Power.Your new role will include:Develop and maintain engineering standards documentation & drawings, equipment specifications, and standardise solutions. Incorporate input from Regional Operations and internal stakeholders into standards documentation.Evaluate equipment meets technical and design requirements.Work with stakeholders and suppliers on product development and network equipment trials.Contribute to network equipment failure investigations and recommendations.Our new Standards Engineer will have:Continuing professional development toward Chartered Professional Engineer status with Engineers Australia.A sound knowledge of the WA power industry regulatory environment.At least 3 years' experience in a power systems environment, including design, construction, operation, or maintenance.Basic understanding of electrical controls schematic diagrams and instrument drawings.Demonstrated technical writing and documentation development skills (including standards, designs, and processes).We value the importance of First Nations culture.
