Join Mazda Australia as the State Manager, for Victoria and Tasmania! This pivotal executive position is responsible for leading a small team of 6 professionals to elevate business performance across 30+ Mazda Dealerships in Victoria and Tasmania. Reporting directly to the Director of Vehicle Sales, this position necessitates regular travel to all Victoria and Tasmania dealerships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leadership and Team Development: Foster the growth of the Victorian State Office team, including responsibility for the State Office operations.
- Customer Experience Transformation: Drive the CX culture transformation program across all dealerships while monitoring performance.
- Financial and Business Management: Develop recommended financial budgets for state-wide operations, ensuring fiscal alignment and accurate sales forecasts for national approval. Prepare business updates on at least a monthly basis to the Mazda Australia executive team.
- Sales and Profitability Maximisation: Drive increased sales volume profitability and market penetration for vehicles, parts, service, and accessories throughout Vic/Tas.
- Performance Standards: Ensure dealerships consistently meet the business’s high-performance standards, focussing on the “Ultimate Customer Experience”.
- Quarterly reviews: Conduct quarterly assessments of dealerships, communicating performance feedback to Dealer Principals, and implementing structured action plans.
- Marketing and Training: Oversee or implement training, co-operative advertising, national campaigns, and local market intelligence efforts among Dealers.
- Dealer Engagement: Maintain a regular visit schedule with each dealership, adding value at every visit and reporting progress through dealer visit reports.
- Brand promotion: Uphold Mazda’s brand reputation through effective management of policies, programs, and procedures, solidifying our position as a leading automotive brand for both Dealers and customers.
About You
