What we are looking for?
Energised, career driven STATE MANAGER who knows what it takes to lead a team to provide exceptional customer service in a sales driven environment.
As a State Manager, you are responsible for managing all aspects of the retail store operations for our stores in SA. This includes driving and exceeding store budgets whilst maximizing sales , ensuring customer satisfaction , building effective teams , compliance to company visual merchandising standards , profit and loss management and adherence to company policies, processes and directives. You will be reporting to the National Manager and GM – Retail and Operations Manager based in Sydney.
Regional Manager Responsibilities:
• Achieve or exceed sales budgets for the region.
• Analyse and follow up individual sales results for the region
• Drive a sales culture in all stores as well as facilitate training sessions to upskill your team.
• Manage the stores wages and provide feedback to Store Managers
• Drive, coach and deliver exceptional customer service standards for the region
• Manage escalated store and customer complaints to ensure they are promptly dealt with
• proactively recruit store management positions and provide assistance to stores for non-management roles with the support of Recruitment.
• Manage the Concession relationship with our stores in David Jones and Myer
To be suitable for the role you must have:
- Have minimum 3 years multi-site experience (5 stores plus) ideally in fashion retail
- You are an inspirational Leader. Your team enjoy working with you and achieve extraordinary results
- Great communication skills, having the ability to effectively communicate to a Head Office support team remotely
- Experience in freestanding, concession stores and outlet stores
- Have exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
- Are highly organised and perform well under pressure
- Have budget and expense management experience
- Have a current drivers licence and be flexible to work across multiple locations
- Ability to work autonomously - you are also self driven and motivated!
