State Sales Manager

Our client is a professional and respected Australian owned business specialising in the water treatment industry. They are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled State Sales Manager to lead, motivate and develop an established and successful sales team.
The role:
- Selling water treatment chemistries and equipment solutions to clients
- Reporting the CEO, the State Sales Manager will oversee all sales operations within Queensland and ensure sales targets are met.
- Developing business opportunities with existing and new clients
- Coordinating with peers to ensure consistency and share best practices.
- Implementing sales strategies that further the company's agenda and drive enhanced revenue generation.
- Providing detailed reports on sales results, market trends, and competitor analysis.
- Ensure that activities are performed safely, accurately and in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Establishing and driving performance improvement in collaboration with other branches to achieve branch proficiency targets and customer satisfaction.
- Managing, coaching, mentoring and more
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, chemistry, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a sale's managerial role, with experience as a branch manager
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office.
- Ability to develop and drive employee performance at a state level.
- Superb interpersonal skills, particularly in motivating teams and creating a positive working environment.
- An understanding fundamental water chemistry and wastewater treatment.
- The ability to quickly establish positive working relationships with clients, the local field service and administration teams as well as peers will be important for success.
