Primary Purpose of Role:
- Plan, develop and facilitate the delivery and assessment of nationally accredited training and approved training outcomes according to the VET Quality Framework
- Coordinate a team of nationally accredited training personnel to meet the demands of volunteer training in accordance with endorsed training frameworks
- Coordinate training resource development in the defined capability areas to ensure they are current and aligned with the Public Safety Training Package and other relevant training packages
- Continually monitor and asses that all plans within the defined capability areas are consistent with published strategic directions to ensure effective delivery and cost-effective use of the resources
- Represent the CFS at sector-wide and internal strategic committee level within project/capability area
- Perform or support Incident Management and or operational roles as required in line with competencies of the individual
- Manage and deliver CFS Incident Management course programs.
- Build CFS competence in specialist roles such as Tactical Commander, Logistics Officer, Division Commander.
- Provide contemporary Incident Management training to 13,500 volunteers and staff.

Essential Qualifications:
- PUA20719 Certificate II in Public Safety (Firefighting Operations), or its equivalent; and
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent, or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education.

ASO5
$84,522 - $94,003
