An integral part of our Disabilities Services Leadership team, as Statewide Manager, you will provide strategic leadership, and operational and financial management of services across the state. This role is responsible for managing existing Disability Services, developing and enhancing the delivery of these services, leading community capacity building and contributing to the broader UnitingCare mission.
Additionally, this role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities to drive growth across the state, through combining relationship management, business development, and stakeholder engagement to achieve specific targets in line with organisational strategic growth objectives.
This role will take project and program leadership – as required – for achieving strategic and operational objectives including, driving practice consistency, strengthening service quality, identifying and perusing new service opportunities, establishing an evidence base and positioning services to be renowned in their field. This position will work with other State-wide Managers and Service Managers as part of the Disability Leadership Team to deliver projects and programs in line with the Disability Services strategy, reporting to the General Manager Disability Services.
Please note, this is a full time, permanent opportunity, where hybrid working is supported. The successful applicant can be based at either our Annerley or Chermside sites with the need to spend 1-2 days at Ipswich, and occasional travel to Warwick and Toowoomba.
Your part in our UnitingCare Community team:
- Identify, develop and implement growth opportunities across the state in line with Disability Services strategy including developing proposals and submissions for new services and funding in consultation with the General Manager.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to create and execute a comprehensive business development strategy
- Successfully execute the business development strategy to sustainably grow new and existing services.
- Deliver UnitingCare’s strategic direction through management of the subject matter service stream within Family and Disability Services.
- Advance the strategic direction of UnitingCare’s Family & Disability Services across Queensland
- Lead the development of innovative ways to enable Disability Services to grow the business and provide services aligned with Family and Disability Services 2030 strategy, Cultural Appreciation strategy and people capability plans across their business.
- Provide high level subject matter expertise, and comprehensive, timely advice to the General Manager and Senior Leadership Team on key issues impacting on Disability Services and their teams.
