About our Team:
As the Station Assistant you will join a small team to provide exceptional customer service, presentation activities for the QR Travel fleet and general cleaning duties at the Bundaberg Train Station.
In this role you will mostly work autonomously however at times you will be required to work as part of a small team.
Some of the duties of a Station Assistant / Cleaner will include:
- Provision of cleaning and presentation activities for the Bundaberg Tilt and other services
- General cleaning and vegetation control duties at Bundaberg station
- Acceptance and loading of customer luggage
- Provide quality customer services by interacting, assisting and directing customers
- Report anything that may impact on staff or customer safety to the Supervisor
- Perform additional duties as requested by the Supervisor
Hours:
This is a permanent part-time position which generally works between the hours of 2045-0245 Monday to Friday, working a minimum of 25 hours per week. However, depending on the needs of the business you may be required to work additional hours or have some flexibility with the roster.

About you:
We are looking for an adaptable individual who has outstanding customer service and communication skills. In addition to this you will have:
- Experience in a previous cleaning role is highly desirable
- Availability to work night shifts
- Ability to work autonomously but also within a team environment
- Able to undertake a variety of manual handling tasks including cleaning and lifting of heavy luggage up to 20 kilograms
- A ‘C’ class drivers licence – mandatory
