Immigration Performance and Resourcing Section (IPRS) provides Migration and Temporary Visa program activity reporting, develops visa program projections, resource allocation modelling and reporting, and performance and planning on behalf of Immigration Operations (IOG) and Immigration Programs Division (IPD).

Working closely with Data and Economic Analysis Centre we identify data needs, design, develop, deliver and maintain a suite of data products focussed on the Migration and Temporary Visa programs. We deliver weekly and monthly Minister's Office dashboards, support daily crisis response monitoring, develop performance measures, provide program management and delivery tools, and undertake performance analysis to enhance program accountability.

We undertake data analysis to prepare visa activity projections for resource and financial planning of the Migration and Temporary Visa programs. Using excel, power queries, SAP Business Objects and Power BI we prepare staff accessible reports aimed at improving data literacy and data consistency.

We contribute to the Government’s reform of the Australia's migration system, to ensure it is better targeted to build Australia's economic prosperity and security. As a member of the IPRS team you will have the opportunity to work with the department's visa programs, data and build reporting capability.
