Cobalt is currently supporting a fantastic Real Estate developer in their search for a Statutory Accountant to join their team.
This business is looking to hire a Statutory Accountant on an initial 8 month FTC to lead on the production of the statutory accounts and eventual assist with a system implementation.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements under IFRS
- Preparation of monthly accounting
- Balance sheet reconciliations, VAT reconciliations
- Liaising with non-finance members & auditors
- Potential to implement a new statutory accounting system
Requirements:
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
- Organised individual
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Statutory accounting background
- Strong Excel skills
