Steel Detailer / Draftsperson

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager some of your responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting engineering specifications and generating working drawings 
• Work with the sales team and engineers on the steel frame structure for practical solutions
• Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and troubleshoot any issues that arise 
• Contribute to the timely completion of projects
• Ensure a high quality of service is provided from start to finish 

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Steel Detailer or draftsperson 
• A solid understanding of construction terminology and building practices 
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse and interpret drawings accurately
• A current driver's license 

You will also have:

• Strong computer skills with the ability to use industry systems/software
• The ability to work as part of a team or autonomously 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• An enthusiastic personality with a willingness to learn
