Our successful and growing manufacturing plant is searching for a self-motivated, competent and experienced WELDER/METAL FABRICATOR to join our easy going work force.
If you are looking for a job where you are NOT buried in the same task for long periods of time, this job is for you! We typically make product batches that lasts 1 week so please do not apply if you prefer to do the same job for extended periods.

About the Role
- Offered Casual Trial Period pay is $45 + Casual Loading
- Full-time position considered after 6 months Casual Trial Period
- Working Hours 8am-4:16pm (38 hour week) 15min tea break and 40min lunch
- Weekly Pay
- Immediate Start
- No weekends
Main Duties
- Report to Production Manager
- Prepare raw material, MIG-Weld and clean own work
- Ability to Read Engineering drawings
- Manual Handling
- House keeping of your own designated welding bay
Skills and expectations
- Competent use of power tools and machinery i.e. Band Saw, Brobo, grinder
- Experienced Mig-welder of 3mm and 5mm mild steel
- Punctual, Reliable and able to work 38 hours per week
- Willingness to learn and share
- Work in Team Environment
- Occupational Health and Safety Compliant
