JND Timber and Steel
We are a Melbourne based company who manufacture steel, aluminium and timber products, we are looking for an experienced manufacturer to join our team in our Braeside factory.
The role involves completing duties across the multiple stages of the end-to-end manufacturing, production, and assembly.
- Full time position (contractors welcome)
- Experience in Mig welding an advantage.
The position will have onsite training for the right individual, who is willing to learn and keen to progress with the company. With an opportunity to move up to management!
Description of Duties
- fabrication of fence panels, gate frames and outdoor furniture
- general labour / carpentry duties
- use of machinery/cutting grinding
- timber preparation and sealing.
- Steel & Aluminium preparation and welding
- some onsite installations and deliveries
Skills and Experience
- Strong understanding of steel and timber preparation for manufacturing
- someone who has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Some carpentry knowledge
- experience in Mig welding an advantage.
- experience in manufacturing fence panels an advantage.
- someone who is honest, punctual, enthusiastic and reliable.
- who is physically fit
- who is positive and passionate about their work
- and wants to work part of a great team.
- high standards of quality workmanship
- has a driver licence.
