We are seeking Machine Operators & loaders to join our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Penrith. This is a full-time permanent role.
The successful applicant requires:
- Previous experience in the reinforcing steel or manufacturing industry is an advantage but not essential.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- The ability to follow safe work procedures and adhere to company policies, guidelines, and standards.
- The ability to understand, follow and comply with WHS obligations.
- High level of motivation and attention to detail.
- Reliable transport to and from work.
- Ability to work different shifts & overtime.
Main duties include, but are not limited to:
- Operate the off-coil machine, shearline, manual bender, cold rolling line machine, or mesh machine.
- Conduct machine pre-start and quality checks.
- Load products into truck for safe transport
- Maintain work areas in a neat & safe manner.
- Embrace technology and scanning procedures for QA requirements.
