About the Role:We're looking for an experienced Pharmacy Stock Controller to join our team at Kaleen Discount Drug Store.
Our trading hours include weekends, so this position will include some rotational weekend shifts. That said, this role is flexible and could be a Part time (30+ hours over 5 days a week) or full time role.
As a key player in our retail operations, you'll be responsible for inventory control, ensuring we have the right stock, at the right time, and in the right amount to optimise our operations and ensure excellent customer service.
Your duties include:
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Ordering stock from wholesalers and suppliers
- Receiving stock and managing invoices/paperwork
- Merchandising the pharmacy, including setting up promotions and ticketing using Discount Drug Store planograms
- Conducting inventory management and stocktakes
- Monitoring stock performance, managing credits, and maintaining stock levels within agreed budgetary constraints
- Providing general administrative support
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Previous experience as a Stock Controller, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting (solid retail background also considered).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to resolve issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of pharmacy products is beneficial.
- Certificate 2 or 3 in Community Pharmacy or dispensing experience is highly regarded.
- A strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills.
- An enthusiastic and positive attitude with the initiative to resolve issues.
