This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in the dynamic aerospace industry and contribute to producing high-quality aerospace sub-systems and components.Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble aerospace mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic sub-systems and components.
- Install aerospace fasteners, standoffs, rivets, and hardware according to specifications.
- Apply part marking and adhesives as per customer quality standards.
- Use shrink fitment techniques for hardware installation.
- Maintain process momentum and schedule adherence.
- Support other team members in aerospace production.
- Ensure general housekeeping for a clean work environment.
- Good understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy regarding understanding 3D models and extracting key measurement data.
- Experience in aerospace assembly techniques, using hand and power tools.
- Proficiency in measurement equipment, including verniers, micrometres, etc.
- Ability to read drawings and other technical instructions to complete production tasks.
- Trade qualification or higher in engineering or manufacturing (Certificate III in an engineering discipline, such as sheet metal or machining, or Cert II or Cert VI in aerospace skills).
- Must have unlimited working rights in Australia.
- Knowledge of MRO processes. (Desirable)
