About Your Role
Thales Australia provides logistics services expertise to our customer, the Australian Defence Force with the logistics services business there are 17+ depots throughout Australia. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join as the team as an Stocktaker.
Thales will train and qualify you to work in each area of our logistics business including, storage, maintenance and distribution. This will be comprised of ‘on the job’ training as well as courses through our in-house registered training organisation.
Working across a Monday – Friday you will :
- Operating the inventory management system
- Reporting any stock discrepancies to the Stocktaker and Stocktake Coordinator
- Conducting research and investigations as required, interrogating stock history to complete investigations
- Involvement with stock counting
- Building and maintaining a good working relationship with all staff members within the logistic services business
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to all matters relating to health and safety
- Basic knowledge and experience in stocktaking and warehouse processes
- Excellent attention to detail with very good numeric, oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
