About the role
As Storage Consultant, you'll play a focal role in maintaining the high standards of the facilities, managing inventory, delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring smooth business operations. Every day brings something new as you handle a variety of tasks.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, understand their storage needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across various areas, ensuring an inviting environment for customers and employees.
- Monitor merchandise levels and initiate ordering processes to keep our inventory stocked and optimised.
- Facilitate seamless transactions, manage payments, and handle cash with accuracy and professionalism.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including invoicing, reporting, and communication with management.
- Opening and closing the facility utilising safety and security procedures.
Hours of work
- 8-5pm Tuesday and Wednesday
- 9 – 5pm Thursday and Friday
- 9 – 1 Saturday with additional flexibility as needed – this attracts a premium hourly rate
Qualifications
- A passion for delivering customer service excellence, with an “above and beyond” attitude and work ethic.
- Enjoy problem solving and taking ownership of tasks.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service roles preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated, enthusiastic team player with a “hands on” approach to a diverse range of tasks.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications and software.
- Current Drivers Licence.
