We currently have some exciting opportunities to join our growing team as a Store Designer on a 12-Month Contract. We are looking for an experienced Architectural Draftsperson, Architect or Interior Designer with strong drafting experience, who wants to be involved in all aspects of the Bunnings store layouts design, inside and out – from extensions to new store concepts!
This role will see you design the site and planning phase of Bunnings stores. Joining a highly supportive and collaborative team you will maintain design consistency and ensure the necessary operational requirements are followed however you will bring your innovation and be prepared to collaborate with stakeholders on new concepts when required.
What’s involved:
- Coordinate the planning, design and documentation phases for Capital Works
- Prepare concept site plans, internal layouts and scope of works for use in the preparation of financial proposals
- Liaise with the appropriate internal and external stakeholders to ensure that design solutions meet the requirements for sign off
- Prepare Town Planning applications
- Prepare CAD perspectives and/or renderings of proposed developments
- Support delivery of all design documentation relating to the Major Capital Works program
- Review Consultants drawings for suitability, accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and deliver required stakeholder meetings as per schedule
- Ensure that all policies, procedures and processes within the Store Design function are fully compliant with the Trade Practices Laws
You’ll need:
- A qualification in either Architecture, Design, Building, Engineering or Drafting
- Experience in design and drafting in ArchiCAD or associated software
- Strong design and documentation skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Team orientated
