Are you ready to dive into the retail world with us? If so, we've got an exciting opportunity for a Store Design Projects Coordinator to join our dynamic Property team in Mulgrave on a 12 month fixed term role. If you're passionate about retail, possess a keen eye for design, or have experience in architecture or interior design, we would love to hear from you!
What you'll be doing
As a Store Design Projects Coordinator working for Kmart you will:
- Develop and maintain the Store Design delivery program and budgets, ensuring timely and budget-conscious project delivery through 'Monday.com' online software.
- Proactively communicate program updates to all stakeholders for effective end-user implementation.
- Manage graphics, signage, and equipment prototyping for trial stores and Store Design initiatives. Engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders for successful delivery.
- Handle general Store Design administration, including invoice approvals, expenses, meeting minutes, process improvement, aiding project delivery, and liaising with Suppliers and Shopfitters.
- Manage the workload program and integrate Design and Standards requests into the workload schedule.
- Identify areas for process improvement and automation, building efficiencies into the daily ways of working for the design team.
- Develop a quality control process for checking and issuing Store Design output.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of administration and program management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable collaborating with internal stakeholders, external partners, and team members.
- Experience with Autodesk drafting programs or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Diligence and be detail-oriented, ensuring precision in project execution.
- An outgoing and engaging style, fostering a collaborative working environment.
- Self-motivated and accountable, capable of taking ownership of responsibilities and driving results independently.
- A background in retail would be advantageous.
