Position Overview: We seek a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of Autobarn Burleigh Heads. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive retail, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the store, including staff supervision, inventory management, sales performance, and customer satisfaction.
Team / Store Overview:
We are located in a brand new shopping precinct in the heart of Burleigh Heads some of our retail neighbours include Anaconda and Spotlight. The store is designed to be state-of-the-art with the best lighting, flooring and workshop equipment that we could find. Our team generally consists of 20-25 total employees, the store holds 1 to 1.5 Million dollars in stock and has a total footprint of around 1,300 Square metres. Approximately 1,000 SQM of retail floor area with the rest being workshop and offices. We have a stock receivables area, mezzanine offices and an air-conditioned lunch room/kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to store staff, including training, coaching, and performance management.
- Ensure efficient operation of the store, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Drive sales and achieve revenue targets through effective merchandising, promotions, and customer engagement.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction, resolving any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Oversee the implementation of store policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance profitability.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and employee development.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all staff and customers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of automotive products and accessories is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
